Marie Selby Botanical Gardens Wedding | Taylor & Austin Wedding | Sarasota Wedding Photographers

Taylor + Austin’s wedding took us on a little drive to Sarasota, Florida. It’s a few hours north of us and often a welcome change of scenery. I don’t know that I could ever tire of a beach wedding, but a little change is pretty great. Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is the perfect, peaceful retreat for a wedding. You have all the benefits of a warm, Florida wedding with the lush, draping greenery of a rainforest. It was a very magical day.

Ritz Carlton Sarasota | Bethany & Joseph | Sarasota Destination Wedding

Bethany & Joseph may have had one of our coldest weddings on record, but honestly, you wouldn’t have known it unless you were there. Although Florida is known for it’s tropical climate and it’s a premier destination location because of our gorgeous weather, cold fronts do happen. If you saw me or Cody during our last cold snap (approximately 50 degrees F) dressed in our winter get-up you would have never known we used to live in Michigan, New York and Colorado. Florida has turned us into weather wimps.

Regardless of the weather, Bethany and Joseph were married at beautiful ceremony and an incredibly fun reception with those they love and we are so grateful we were there to capture it.
